We compared quotes from 7 suppliers across Europe and Asia, and their price was 12% lower than European mills while maintaining acceptable quality standards for our food processing equipment manufacturing. Ordered 8 tons (1.2mm thickness, 1000mm width, No. 8 finish) with molybdenum content certified at 2.3% per mill certificates. Material performed well in our corrosion resistance testing for acidic food contact applications. Minor issue with delivery documentation - commercial invoice had small discrepancy in net weight (listed 7.95 tons vs actual 8.02 tons) which caused 2-day customs delay. Their team resolved it quickly by providing corrected documents within 24 hours. Surface finish quality was consistent throughout the coil length with reflectivity averaging 89-91%.
