Initial coating weight variance issue — resolved satisfactorily
Our first order of 50 tons ASTM A653 G60 galvanized coil, 0.60mm, showed coating weight readings slightly below the 60 g/m² minimum on three coils out of twelve, flagged by our incoming QC. We raised this immediately with the distributor. To their credit, they arranged a third-party re-test within 48 hours, confirmed the variance, and replaced the three affected coils at no cost within 10 days. The replacement material was fully compliant. Communication during the resolution was transparent. We've since placed a follow-up order and quality has been correct. Cautiously optimistic going forward.

Competitive pricing for bulk Z200 coils, good delivery to Jebel Ali
Ordered 100 tons of Z200 galvanized coil, 1.0mm and 1.5mm mixed gauge, EN 10346 DX52D grade, for HVAC duct fabrication across several UAE projects. Mill-direct pricing was 6–7% below local distributor quotes, which matters at this volume. Delivery to Jebel Ali port was 21 days, acceptable for the distance. Coil OD and ID dimensions were as specified, fitting our slitting line without adjustment. We did request a slightly tighter coil weight tolerance next time to optimize our logistics. Sales team was responsive and the free sample evaluation before the main order was genuinely useful.

Good value on HSLA galvanized — minor documentation delay
Purchased 35 tons of ASTM A653 HSLA Grade 50 galvanized coil, Z180 coating, 3.0mm thickness for structural bracket fabrication. Pricing was noticeably better than our UK stockholders for this higher-strength grade, and the material itself met all tensile and yield requirements. Only issue was that the third-party inspection certificate arrived 3 days after the shipment departed, causing a brief customs hold. Supplier acknowledged the gap and committed to pre-shipping cert delivery going forward. Overall a positive experience and we'd order again with that process improvement in place.

This is our third purchase of Z350 hot-dip galvanized coil, 0.42mm × 762mm, JIS G3302 SGCC grade, used in corrugated cladding manufacture. Technically precise supply for automotive component stamping
Our stamping line requires tight tolerance galvanized sheet: ASTM A653 CS Type B, Z140 coating, 0.80mm gauge, yield strength confirmed at 210 MPa.
