Excellent 316L Welded Pipes for Multi-Project Supply
Outstanding partner for our regional distribution business serving Southeast Asian contractors. This is our 5th container order in 8 months totaling over 85 tons of various 316L configurations. Acceptable Quality with Documentation Issues Resolved
Decent product overall, some documentation issues were resolved satisfactorily. We ordered 6 tons of 316L welded pipe (NPS 4, Schedule 40S) for our mining process water system. Material quality met ASTM A312 requirements with proper chemical composition (carbon 0.027%, molybdenum 2.5%). Initial shipment arrived with incomplete mill test certificates - two heat numbers were missing mechanical test data. We contacted their quality department and they provided the complete documentation within 48 hours along with supplementary PMI reports at no charge. The replacement certificates showed all properties were within specification. Hydrostatic testing had been performed but wasn't clearly documented in the original MTCs. After resolution, we were able to proceed with our project QA approval. Suggestion for improvement: implement better quality control checks on documentation completeness before shipment to avoid delays in project schedules. Material itself performed well in our application with no corrosion issues after 6 months of brackish water service. Would order again but will verify documentation completeness upon delivery.

We compared quotes from 5 suppliers across Australia and Southeast Asia, and their price was 15% lower than Australian suppliers while maintaining AS 1528.1 equivalency to ASTM A312. Ordered 10 tons of 316L welded pipe (NPS 6 and NPS 8, Schedule 40S) for our coastal wastewater treatment plant upgrade. Material quality was good with PREN values documented at 25-26, suitable for our brackish water exposure. Mill test certificates were complete with full chemical analysis and mechanical testing. One minor issue was that the pipe marking ink was less durable than expected and faded during outdoor storage, but this didn't affect material traceability as we had already recorded all heat numbers. Delivery took 28 days which met their quoted timeframe. Overall, reliable supplier with competitive pricing for large diameter welded pipe. 4 stars because marking durability could be improved for projects with extended outdoor storage periods.

Material quality was solid with complete chemical analysis showing chromium at 17.2% and nickel at 12.8%.
