Initial coating query raised — resolved promptly, product now confirmed acceptable

We ordered 40 MT of 48.3 mm and 60.3 mm OD galvanized scaffolding pipe for a construction project in Dubai. On arrival, our QC team flagged that coating thickness readings on roughly 8% of pipes in one bundle measured closer to 42 µm rather than the 45 µm minimum specified. We raised this with the supplier immediately. They responded within four hours, reviewed our measurement report, and arranged a partial replacement shipment at no additional cost within 12 days. The replacement batch fully conformed. Issue was handled professionally and we would consider ordering again with tighter pre-shipment inspection agreed upfront.

Solid product at a fair price — freight coordination could be smoother

Purchased 55 MT of BS 1387 galvanized pipe in mixed sizes from 21.3 mm to 114.3 mm OD for a utilities project in Manchester. The pipe itself was well within spec — wall thickness tolerances tight, zinc coating uniform with no bare spots on visual inspection. Pricing reflected genuine mill-direct savings versus UK distribution. Freight coordination with our forwarding agent took a couple of extra exchanges to finalise, which added a day or two. Not a major issue, but worth mentioning. Product quality and price are the main reasons we'd order again.

Good value on large volume — minor documentation delay at the start

Ordered 200 MT of 168.3 mm OD ASTM A53 galvanized pipe for water supply line installation on a municipal project in Ohio. Pricing was competitive for this volume and the pipe quality — yield strength, coating weight — met spec throughout. Only reason for 4 stars is that the initial mill certificate package took an extra three days to arrive, which briefly held up our submittal process. Once resolved, everything moved smoothly. Overall a strong supplier for bulk construction pipe requirements and we would use them again.
