Initial flatness issue on thin gauge — resolved satisfactorily
First order was 2 tonnes of Grade 304, 0.5mm cold rolled sheet, 2B finish, 1000mm × 2000mm. On arrival, roughly 15% of sheets showed slight coil set that caused fitment problems on our laser cutting table. Raised the issue with the supplier immediately — they responded within one business day, arranged a partial replacement shipment within 10 days, and applied tension levelling to the replacement material at no additional cost. Replacement sheets were flat and performed well. The after-sales response was genuinely good. Deducting two stars for the initial quality lapse, but the resolution process gives me confidence to try a second order.

Competitive pricing on 409 grade for exhaust component production
Sourced 10 tonnes of Grade 409 cold rolled stainless steel sheet, 1.5mm and 2.0mm mixed thickness, 1250mm width, for automotive exhaust heat shields. Material met EN 10088 composition requirements and our stamping trials showed good formability with no edge cracking at tight radii. Cost was noticeably lower than our previous German distributor for the same grade. Delivery to Hamburg took 17 days, which was acceptable. Documentation could be more detailed on heat treatment records — we had to request supplementary data. Overall a good commercial relationship, four stars for now, will reassess after next order.

Good value on 304 No.4 finish — minor lead time variance
Ordered 4 tonnes of Grade 304 cold rolled sheet, 1.2mm, No.4 brushed finish, to JIS G4305 standard for commercial kitchen equipment panels. Surface finish quality and dimensional accuracy were both solid — our fabricators had no complaints during production. Pricing came in approximately 8% below our previous domestic supplier for equivalent spec. Only note: quoted lead time was 15 days but actual delivery was 19 days. Supplier communicated the delay proactively, which was appreciated. For the price-to-quality ratio, we'll order again with a bit of extra lead time buffer built in.

Reliable delivery and correct grade certification for offshore application
Procured 5 tonnes of Grade 316L cold rolled sheet, 3.0mm thickness, 1500mm wide, for offshore platform walkway components in the Arabian Gulf. Marine environment demands strict grade compliance — supplier provided full EN 10204 3.1 MTCs with spectrographic analysis confirming correct alloy composition. CIF Jebel Ali delivery completed in 20 days. Packaging included VCI film and edge protection, material arrived in perfect condition despite transit. Price was competitive versus European mills. Consistent supply of 316 BA finish for sterile equipment production
Our third consecutive order — 6 tonnes of 316 cold rolled stainless sheet, 0.8mm × 1000mm × 2000mm, BA finish, compliant with ASTM A240 and FDA hygienic surface requirements. Non-porous BA surface finish passes our Ra measurement spec at under 0.4μm every time, which is mandatory for sterile processing unit fabrication. The supplier maintains consistent stock and turnaround has been 14–16 days ex-works on each order. MTC documentation is always complete and accurate. This is now our primary source for all stainless flat products.

Hairline finish quality was outstanding for facade cladding project
Sourced 8 tonnes of Grade 304 cold rolled sheet, 1.0mm, HL (Hairline) finish, cut to custom lengths between 2400mm and 4200mm for a commercial building facade in Brisbane. The grain direction was perfectly consistent across all panels — critical for visual uniformity when installed. Flatness was excellent, no oil-canning issues during installation. Supplier handled the custom slitting and cut-to-length processing in-house, saving us significant secondary processing costs. Delivery was 25 days from order confirmation. Already specified them for two upcoming projects.

316L sheets passed our chloride resistance testing without issue
We specified Grade 316L cold rolled sheet, 2.0mm × 1500mm × 3000mm, for reactor lining components in a chloride-rich processing environment. Material conformed fully to EN 10088-2 and our in-house corrosion immersion test showed no pitting after 500 hours. Chemical composition reports confirmed Mo content at 2.15%, well within specification. Delivery to Mumbai port took 22 days, packaging was intact with no surface damage. Technical team responded to our material queries within 4 hours. Highly recommended for chemical processing applications.

Exceptional dimensional accuracy on 304 2B sheets
Ordered 12 tonnes of Grade 304 cold rolled stainless steel sheet, 1.5mm thickness, 1219×2438mm, with 2B finish to ASTM A240 standard. Dimensional tolerances were within ±0.05mm across the entire batch — our CNC press brake setup required zero re-calibration. Mill test certificates provided in EN 10204 3.1 format, fully traceable. Lead time was 18 days CIF Liverpool, which beat our previous supplier by a week. Surface quality was consistent throughout. Will be placing a repeat order for our Q3 production run.
