First order was 150 MT of S355JR H beams, HW300x300, for an industrial equipment foundation. When the shipment arrived, about 15 MT had flange thickness measuring 17.5mm instead of the specified 19mm. Imported 300 MT of S275JR H beams in 12m lengths for a commercial warehouse in Melbourne. The sandblasted SA 2.5 surface finish was clean and ready for our coating line. Good Value, Minor Packaging Issue
Ordered 200 MT of ASTM A992 H beams, HW200x200 and HW150x150, for a mezzanine platform in our Ohio facility. Steel quality was excellent — yield strength tested at 362 MPa on our end, well above the 345 MPa minimum. Pricing was about 12% below what domestic distributors quoted. Only issue was some bundling straps loosened during transit, causing minor surface scratches on a few pieces. Nothing structural, but worth noting. Overall a solid purchase.
