Initial thickness tolerance issue — resolved promptly, project not impacted
We ordered 30 tonnes of S550 plates (EN 10025-6, 50mm nominal thickness) for a heavy-load industrial mezzanine. On incoming inspection, four plates measured 48.6mm — slightly outside the EN 10029 Class B tolerance we'd specified. Raised this immediately with the supplier. They responded within 4 hours, arranged replacement plates dispatched within 5 business days, and covered the freight cost. Project timeline was not affected. The replacement batch was perfect. Supplier's after-sales response was genuinely good. Dropping one star for the initial QC miss, but their resolution process was professional.

Competitive S460 pricing, delivery tracking could be improved
Ordered 50 tonnes of S460 plates (EN 10025-4, TMCP, 30mm) for a pedestrian bridge structure in Queensland. Material met all mechanical specs — Charpy values at −40°C were well above 27J. Price per tonne was noticeably better than Australian domestic suppliers for this grade. My main feedback: real-time shipment tracking updates were sparse between port departure and arrival. We had to email twice for ETAs. Quality and price are strong enough that we'd order again, but improved logistics visibility would make this a 5-star experience.

Good value on S275 sections — minor documentation delay worth noting
Purchased 75 tonnes of S275 hot-rolled angles and channels (EN 10025-2) for a light industrial unit fit-out. Material quality was solid — yield strength confirmed at 285 MPa on our incoming inspection, above the 275 MPa minimum. Pricing was around 6% below our usual UK stockholder, which matters on tight-margin contracts. Only issue: EN 10204 3.1 certificates arrived two days after the steel, causing a brief hold on our fabrication sign-off. Supplier acknowledged this and said they've updated their dispatch process. Would order again.

EN 10025-6 S690 grade — precise specs, zero deviations
