Perfect Mill-Direct Pricing on API 5L PSL2 Line Pipe — Repeat Buyer
This is our fourth order with this manufacturer — 60 tons of API 5L PSL2 seamless line pipe, OD 273.1mm (10 inch), wall 12.7mm, Grade X52, for a gas gathering system in Saskatchewan. Mill test reports showed Charpy impact values at -20°C well above the PSL2 minimum, which was critical for our cold-climate application. All pipes were clearly heat-numbered and traceable to the MTRs. Custom lengths of 11.8m were cut precisely with tolerances within ±5mm. Compared to sourcing through Canadian distributors, the mill-direct pricing saved us approximately 14% on this order. Export packaging held up perfectly through the Vancouver port transit.
