Acceptable Quality Custom Tubes — Dimensional Issue Resolved After Communication
Ordered 5.5 tons of custom D-shaped tubes, S235JRH, 2mm wall, for a furniture frame production run. The material quality and certificate documentation were fine. However, upon inspection of the first delivery, we found that approximately 12% of the tubes had a slight bow exceeding our straightness tolerance of 1mm per meter. We raised this with the technical team, who responded within 4 hours and arranged for replacement pieces to be expedited within 9 business days at no additional cost.
