Acceptable Quality with Documentation Issues
Purchased 7 tons of KA36 plate (16mm thickness) for barge repair project in Vancouver. Material mechanical properties met specifications with yield strength at 362 MPa and adequate impact values. Initial MTC certificates had some translation errors in English version which caused confusion during quality review. Supplier quickly provided corrected documents within 48 hours and CCS surveyor confirmed authenticity. Plates themselves were good quality with uniform thickness tolerance of ±0.25mm. Delivery took 17 days. Would recommend verifying documentation accuracy upfront, but product quality was satisfactory once paperwork was resolved.

Excellent KA36 Plates with Full CCS Certification
Ordered 12 tons of KA36 shipbuilding steel plate in 10mm and 15mm thicknesses for hull construction on our 85-meter cargo vessel project. Material certificates showed carbon at 0.16% and yield strength of 368 MPa, exceeding the 355 MPa minimum requirement. CCS surveyor inspected the plates at supplier's facility - all ultrasonic testing per GB/T 2970 Class I passed without defects. Delivered to Liverpool port in 9 days.
