Precision Cut-to-Length T22 Tubes Saved Us Fabrication Time
Needed 7 tons of ASTM A213 T22 reheater tubes, 50.8mm OD x 6.35mm, cut to 4,250mm lengths with beveled ends for direct welding. Kuaima delivered exactly to spec—length tolerance was within ±0.5mm, tighter than the ±1mm they advertise. This eliminated our in-house cutting step entirely and sped up coil assembly by two days. Initial Delay Resolved – Final Product Met Spec
Ordered 3 tons of A213 T5 (5Cr-0.5Mo) in 60.3mm OD x 5.54mm WT for a petrochemical heat exchanger application. Original delivery estimate was 30 days but it stretched to 48 days due to a mill scheduling conflict. This caused some headaches with our project timeline. However, Kuaima's team communicated the delay proactively and offered partial air freight at their cost for the most urgent portion. Competitive Pricing on P11 Pipes for Fired Heater Project
We procured 10 tons of ASTM A335 P11 seamless pipes, 168.3mm OD x 14.27mm WT, for a refinery fired heater revamp in Jubail. The mill-direct rate was significantly lower than trading company quotes we received. MTCs were comprehensive with full mechanical and chemical data. SGS inspection was coordinated at the mill before shipment. Delivery took 35 days FOB—acceptable for made-to-order. Would have appreciated slightly faster communication on shipping document preparation, but overall a good procurement experience.

Good Value T11 Tubes – Minor Packaging Issue
Ordered 4 tons of ASTM A213 T11, 25.4mm OD x 3.2mm WT, for waterwall tube replacements at a waste-to-energy facility in Victoria. Product quality was solid—clean surface, accurate dimensions, 3.1 certs all in order. Pricing was about 12% below what we'd been paying locally. Only issue was some end caps came loose during ocean freight, causing minor surface oxidation on a few tube ends. Nothing that affected usability, but better packaging would help for long-haul shipments to Australia.
