Initial Delay Resolved Professionally
Ordered 10 tons of SA179 tubes, 12.7mm OD × 1.24mm WT, for a chiller tube replacement in Melbourne. The original delivery was delayed by about 10 days beyond the confirmed schedule due to a mill production backlog. I was frustrated initially, but their sales team communicated proactively, offered a partial shipment from stock to keep our project moving, and expedited the balance. Final product quality was perfectly fine — met all ASTM A179 requirements. The issue was handled well, so I'd consider ordering again with a longer planning buffer.

Competitive Pricing for Custom Lengths
Ordered 15 tons of ASME SA179 tubes at 25.4mm OD × 2.11mm WT, cut to 7,320mm lengths for a refinery heat exchanger bundle. Good Value, Minor Packaging Issue
Purchased 8 tons of SA179 seamless tubes, 19.05mm OD × 2.77mm WT (BWG 12), for an economizer replacement. The mill-direct pricing was noticeably lower than our usual European distributors — saved roughly 12% on material cost. Tube quality was solid: clean surface, accurate dimensions, and all mechanical properties met ASME requirements. Only minor complaint was some plastic end caps came loose during shipping, causing light surface oxidation on a few tube ends. Nothing that affected usability, but worth improving for future shipments.

Third Order This Year — Consistently Good Quality
This is our third purchase from Kuaima in 2025 — totaling around 60 tons of SA179 tubes across multiple projects including refinery heat exchangers and chiller units. OD sizes from 9.53mm to 38.1mm. We ordered 28 tons of ASME SA179 seamless tubes, 19.05mm OD × 2.11mm WT (BWG 14), for a condenser re-tube project at a combined-cycle plant in Texas.
