Acceptable Quality — Coating Weight Issue on One Coil Resolved
Ordered 28 tons of galvanized coil, 0.6mm thickness, Z180 coating, width 1100mm for electrical enclosure fabrication. Overall, 10 of the 11 coils met specification without issue — zinc coating weight confirmed at 183–189 g/m² on MTC. However, one coil showed visible thin coating patches in a 400mm section, which our QC team caught during incoming inspection. We raised a claim with supporting photos. The supplier's response time was about 3 business days, and they issued a credit note for the affected coil weight within the week, which was fair. Delivery was 11 days, within the quoted window. Quality control on the production line could be tighter, but the after-sales handling was professional. Will consider reordering if this issue doesn't recur.

Decent Galvanized Coil for Re-export to Southeast Asia Markets

Excellent GI Coil for Automotive Stamping Components

We compared technical datasheets from four suppliers before selecting this mill. Yield strength test results from the MTC averaged 295 MPa — consistent with our press tooling requirements.
