Initial Shipping Delay Resolved — Product Quality Was Acceptable
We ordered 200 tonnes of 43 kg/m light rail for a port facility crane runway in Jebel Ali. The product itself met specifications — hardness, chemistry, and dimensions were all within tolerance per the accompanying ASTM A1 certification. However, the original delivery was delayed by about two weeks due to a vessel scheduling issue, which caused some inconvenience to our civil contractor's timeline. To their credit, the sales team communicated proactively once the delay was identified and arranged partial air-freight of critical fastening accessories at no extra charge. The rail has been installed and is performing as expected under our overhead crane loads. I'd order again but would build in more lead time.

Decent Product at a Fair Price — UIC 54 for Light Rail Project
We ordered 450 tonnes of UIC 54 (54.77 kg/m) in R260 grade for a light rail transit extension in South Wales. The rail met EN 13674-1 chemical and mechanical requirements, and the mill test certificates were thorough. Tensile strength came in around 950 MPa, well above the minimum. Straightness was generally good, though a handful of bars needed minor adjustment at site — nothing unusual for this profile length. Pricing was competitive compared to European mills, even factoring in shipping. Would have appreciated slightly faster response on a documentation query during customs clearance, but overall the value for money is hard to argue with.

Good Value 115 RE Rail for Branch Line Rehabilitation
Purchased 600 tons of AREMA 115 RE standard carbon rail (57.0 kg/m) for rehabilitating a 30-mile branch line in Georgia. The price was very competitive for the volume, and the material met ASTM A1 and AREMA Chapter 4 requirements. Head hardness averaged around 270 HB, which is adequate for our relatively light traffic — about 10 MGT annually. One minor issue: a few bundles had slightly inconsistent paint markings, which slowed our receiving inspection, but the actual rail quality was fine. Delivery took about six weeks door-to-port. Overall a solid option for short lines watching their budget without compromising on metallurgical quality.

We've been running their 136 RE head-hardened rail on a 220 km iron ore haul route in Western Australia for over a year now. Axle loads are at the upper end — 37.5 tonnes — and cumulative tonnage is approaching 80 MGT on the sharpest curves. Head wear measurements at our last inspection cycle were about 40% lower than the standard carbon rail we replaced. That alone justifies the premium. All material came with full chemical and mechanical certifications traceable to individual heats. Just placed a repeat order of 1,800 tonnes for a spur line extension. Reliable Crane Rail Supply — ASTM A759 Compliant, Fully Certified
We sourced 104 RE crane rail sections conforming to ASTM A759 for a new container terminal gantry crane installation in Hamburg. Ordered approximately 320 tonnes in 18 m lengths. Head-Hardened 136 RE Performing Exceptionally on Our Heavy-Haul Line
We ordered 2,400 tons of 136 RE head-hardened rail (R350HT equivalent, 350 HB minimum) for a heavy-haul coal corridor running 35-tonne axle loads. Every piece arrived with full AREMA Chapter 4 compliance documentation and ultrasonic inspection reports. The straightness tolerance was consistently under 0.5 mm/1.5 m — our track crew commented it was some of the best rail they've worked with.
