We ordered 10 tons of AISI 52100 bearing steel bar in 20mm, 30mm, and 40mm diameters for our precision bearing manufacturing facility in Ohio. Material arrived in 26 days with comprehensive documentation including chemical analysis showing carbon at 1.01%, chromium at 1.48%, and sulfur at 0.018%. Ultrasonic testing confirmed zero internal defects per SEP 1921 standards. Annealed hardness measured consistently at 235-240 HBW. After our proprietary heat treatment, material achieved 63 HRC with excellent dimensional stability.
