Our first 150 kg order of whole dried locusts arrived with two of twelve bags showing compromised heat seals, raising moisture ingress concerns for our laboratory storage protocols. We flagged this immediately and the supplier responded within 4 hours, arranging replacement of the affected quantity at no cost and upgrading our packaging specification to triple-seal foil for subsequent orders. Protein content on intact bags tested at 61.7% DM via AOAC method — fully on spec. The resolution process was handled professionally. Second order of 250 kg arrived with zero packaging issues. Adjusting expectations upward for future orders.
