Our co-op ordered 20 kg of dried Locusta migratoria for member breeders. The product itself was good quality – protein at 62% DM, moisture below 8%, specimens intact. However, the first shipment arrived with species labelling that incorrectly listed the batch as Schistocerca gregaria on the outer carton, which caused a compliance concern for our records. We contacted support and received corrected documentation within 48 hours along with an apology. The issue appears to have been a packing label error. Product quality was not in question and we are considering a follow-up order.
