Our first 250 kg order of dried BSFL arrived with moisture content at 11.3% versus the specified maximum of 10% DM, which affected our calculated inclusion rate and storage planning. We raised this with the supplier immediately. They acknowledged the variance, provided a revised COA from the same batch, and issued a 5% credit on the order value within three business days. The second shipment of 500 kg tested at 9.1% moisture — fully within spec. Protein content on both orders was consistent at 61%–63% DM. The issue appears to have been a one-off in transit conditioning. We've continued ordering and the quality has been reliable since.
