First 6MT order showed moisture content at 9.2% on independent lab testing, above the ≤8% spec on the COA. This raised shelf-life concerns for our 90-day inventory cycle. Raised the issue immediately — the supplier responded within 12 hours, acknowledged the variance, and offered a partial credit plus priority re-shipment of a replacement 3MT batch tested at 7.4% moisture. Second batch crude protein was 63.0%, on spec. The resolution process was handled professionally and without dispute. We have since placed a follow-up 8MT order. Issue appears to have been an isolated drying batch problem, now corrected.
