Acceptable Quality with Initial Documentation Delay
Purchased 25 tons of MR grade tinplate coil (0.25mm, 980mm width) for industrial container applications. Material quality was acceptable with mechanical properties meeting ASTM A623 requirements. Initial shipment arrived without complete mill certificates, causing 5-day delay in our production schedule. Supplier responded promptly and provided all documentation including chemical analysis and coating weight reports within 48 hours. Product itself performed adequately in forming trials. Would consider ordering again if documentation process improves. Pricing was fair for the Canadian market.
