Decent product quality overall, with one issue that was resolved. We noticed slight width variation (up to +0.22 mm / −0.15 mm) on 7 of 42 pieces in our 10.2-ton order of 304 flat bar (120 mm × 30 mm, No. 1 finish) for bridge handrail brackets. The variance exceeded the ±0.1 mm tolerance stated in EN 10058. Supplier acknowledged the deviation, provided revised mill test reports with root-cause analysis (roll wear adjustment), and offered a 3% credit plus priority scheduling for our next order. Packaging remained robust. For high-tolerance structural work, recommend specifying tighter width control upfront. Overall acceptable. 3 stars due to initial tolerance nonconformance.
