Initial shipment had width variance — issue fully resolved
First order of 1,500kg of 316 flat bar in 60mm x 8mm for chemical plant supports. When our QC team measured incoming material, roughly 15% of bars showed width variance of +1.8mm, outside our EN 10088-3 tolerance spec. We raised this immediately with the supplier. Their response was fast — they acknowledged the issue, arranged a replacement shipment for the non-conforming pieces within 9 days, and provided updated inspection records. The replacement material was fully within tolerance. Communication throughout was professional. We've since placed a second order and quality control has been solid. Issue resolved satisfactorily.
