Our first order of 500kg dried mealworms for free-range layer supplementation arrived five days beyond the quoted 14-day lead time due to a logistics delay at origin. This caused a minor gap in our feed schedule. Product quality itself was not the issue — crude protein tested at 48.5% DM, moisture at 9.6%, and the amino acid profile was acceptable for our layer ration at 2% inclusion. After raising the delay with their sales team, we received a discount on our next order and an updated shipping timeline. Second shipment arrived on time. Cautiously optimistic and willing to continue trialling.
