Our first order of 1.5 MT for aquaculture feed trials in Queensland arrived 9 days later than the originally quoted lead time, causing a scheduling disruption with our feed mill. We raised the issue with the supplier immediately. They acknowledged the delay, attributed it to port congestion, provided full shipping documentation, and offered a 5% discount on our next order as goodwill. The product itself tested at 52.4% crude protein DM and ≤7.2% moisture, meeting our minimum spec requirements. Communication after the complaint was responsive and professional.
