Our initial 200 kg order of dried mealworm meal arrived with moisture content at 9.3% DM — above the stated ≤8% specification. This was a concern for shelf stability in our retail packaging line. We raised the issue immediately with the technical team, who acknowledged the deviation, provided a corrected CoA, and arranged a partial replacement shipment within 10 days at no additional cost. The replacement batch tested at 7.6% moisture — fully compliant. Calcium content on both batches was within spec at approximately 4,000 mg/100g DM. The response was professional and the resolution was fair. We've since placed a second order with confidence.
