We ordered 35 tonnes of C-channel C100×8 with hot-dip galvanized finish to ASTM A123 for a curtain wall bracing system in Chicago. On receipt, roughly 15% of pieces showed uneven zinc coating below the 85 µm minimum in localized spots. We raised this with the account manager immediately. The supplier arranged a replacement shipment for the affected pieces within 9 business days at no additional cost and provided a corrective action report. The replacement batch passed our thickness gauge checks across the board. Issue was handled professionally; we're willing to try a second order based on how it was resolved.
