Initial width tolerance issue — resolved promptly by supplier
Our first order of 50 MT of 1.0mm Z350 coils, width 1,250mm per ASTM A653, arrived with two coils measuring 1,238mm — outside our ±3mm tolerance for our roll-forming line. We raised the issue immediately. The supplier responded within 4 hours, issued a formal non-conformance report, and arranged replacement coils plus a partial credit within 10 days. The replacement material was within spec. The resolution process was professional and fast. We have since placed a second order and quality control appears tightened. Cautiously optimistic going forward.
