Initial Coating Inconsistency Flagged — Issue Resolved Satisfactorily
On our first order of 70 MT of DX51D, 0.7 mm, Z220 coating for metal roofing panels, our QC team found coating weight on 4 coils measured at Z195–Z205 g/m² rather than the specified Z220 minimum per ASTM A653. We raised the nonconformance immediately. The supplier's technical team responded within 12 hours, reviewed our test reports, acknowledged the variance, and arranged a partial replacement shipment within 2 weeks at no additional cost. Subsequent coils were fully in spec. Appreciated the professional resolution. Will give a second order a chance.
