Minor Packaging Issue But Resolved Professionally
Ordered 10 tons of ASTM A36 square bars, 80mm x 80mm, 12m lengths for a bridge reinforcement project. The steel quality itself was fine — met all A36 specs on our independent testing. However, some bundles had inadequate packaging and a few bars showed minor surface rust on arrival in Liverpool after 25 days at sea. We raised the issue and the team responded within 24 hours, offered a credit on the affected material, and improved packaging on our follow-up order. Problem handled well, so we continued the relationship.
