Initial surface quality concern on P&O finish — resolved satisfactorily
Our first order was 20 tons of pickled and oiled flat steel, 120mm × 8mm, to ASTM A36 for automotive component brackets. Upon arrival, we noticed minor uneven oiling coverage on roughly 5% of the bars, which raised concern for our corrosion protection process. We raised this immediately with the sales team. To their credit, they responded within 24 hours, arranged a partial replacement shipment for the affected pieces, and provided a root cause explanation from their quality department. Mechanical properties and dimensions were correct throughout. Issue was resolved within 10 days. We gave them a second order and that shipment was perfect.
