Minor Dimensional Issue Resolved Professionally
Purchased 50 tons of high strength square steel in 75mm × 75mm, S355JR grade for an industrial warehouse framework in Abu Dhabi. Most of the shipment was perfect, but approximately 3 tons had side length measurements at +0.6mm, slightly outside the ±0.5mm tolerance per ASTM A6. We flagged this immediately, and the supplier responded within 12 hours with a replacement shipment at no additional cost, which arrived in 16 days. The resolution was handled professionally and without dispute. Mechanical properties on all material were within spec. Would order again but will request tighter QC on dimensional checks.
