Quality Fine, Initial Documentation Delay Resolved
We ordered 70 tons of S235JR HEB 200 beams for a bridge approach structure in Gujarat. The beams themselves were good — yield strength, tensile properties, and dimensions all met EN 10025 requirements. However, the original mill test certificates had a clerical error on the heat number for one batch, which caused a delay at our inspection stage. To their credit, the supplier corrected and reissued the MTC within 48 hours and offered a small discount on our next order as goodwill. The issue was resolved professionally, and the beams performed well in service. Would consider ordering again with clearer upfront documentation checks.
