Our order of 4 tons of 1018 cold-drawn square bar in 35mm × 35mm arrived with approximately 200 kg of pieces measuring 34.3mm on one face — outside the stated ±0.5 mm tolerance. We raised a formal quality claim with photos and measurements. The supplier acknowledged the issue within 24 hours and arranged a replacement shipment for the affected quantity at no additional cost, delivered within 10 days. The remainder of the batch was fully within spec. Credit to the after-sales team for handling it professionally. We are cautiously continuing the relationship and will reassess after the next order.
