Placed a 15-ton order of DX52D, 0.90mm, Z200 coating for redistribution to construction fabricators in Southeast Asia. Upon inspection at our Singapore warehouse, two coils out of eleven showed minor spangle irregularity on one edge — approximately 30mm band with thinner coating visible under inspection lamp. Raised the issue with the supplier and they responded within one business day with a coating mass re-test report and offered partial credit for the affected coils. The remaining nine coils were fully compliant with EN 10346:2015 and customer feedback on those was positive. Issue appears to have been an isolated edge trim problem. Supplier's after-sales handling was professional, which is why we are considering a follow-up order with closer incoming inspection arrangement.
