Ordered 30 MT of PE-coated PPGI, 0.5mm thickness, 1,000mm width, RAL 9003 white for light industrial wall panel production in Ontario. Coating quality itself was acceptable—film thickness at 17–18 μm and cross-cut adhesion at Grade 1, within tolerance for our application. The issue was that the EN 10204 Type 3.1 mill test certificate was not included with the initial shipping documents, which held up our customs broker for 4 days. After escalating to the technical sales contact, the certified MTC was issued and transmitted within 24 hours, resolving the clearance. Production lead time of 17 working days was as quoted. Pricing was competitive. Supplier acknowledged the documentation oversight and confirmed a checklist update for future orders. Willing to reorder given the responsive follow-up, but documentation process needs to be more reliable upfront.
