Initial length tolerance issue — resolved promptly by supplier
Our first order of 20 tons of D25 Grade 60 ASTM A615 bars in 11,000 mm custom lengths had around 3% of pieces measuring 11,040 mm to 11,060 mm — just outside the ±25 mm tolerance band. I raised this with the technical team immediately. They acknowledged the issue within four hours, issued a corrective action report, and arranged a partial replacement shipment at no charge within nine working days. The replacement batch was spot-on. The after-sales response was genuinely good and we have since placed a follow-up order. Worth noting for first-time buyers: verify a sample on receipt, but the support process works.
