| Product Name | Carbon Steel Bars for Construction Projects | Structural carbon steel bars used in civil and building construction applications |
| Material Grade | ASTM A615 Gr.40/60, S235JR, Q235B, HRB400 | International equivalents: BS4449 B500B, JIS SD345, EN 10025 S275JR |
| Standard Compliance | ASTM A615 / A706, EN 10025, GB/T 1499.2, JIS G3112 | Meets international structural and reinforcement bar standards |
| Chemical Composition – C | ≤ 0.30% | Carbon content controls hardness and weldability of the bar |
| Chemical Composition – Mn | 0.60% – 1.50% | Manganese enhances tensile strength and toughness |
| Chemical Composition – Si | ≤ 0.55% | Silicon acts as a deoxidizer and improves strength |
| Chemical Composition – P / S | P ≤ 0.045%, S ≤ 0.045% | Low phosphorus and sulfur content ensures ductility and weld quality |
| Tensile Strength | 500 – 700 MPa (ASTM A615 Gr.60: ≥ 620 MPa) | Per ASTM A615 / EN 10025; ensures structural load-bearing capacity |
| Yield Strength | 235 – 500 MPa (Gr.60: ≥ 420 MPa) | Minimum yield per grade; critical for seismic and static structural design |
| Elongation | ≥ 14% – 20% (gauge length 5d) | Ensures ductile behavior under dynamic and seismic loading conditions |
| Size Range – Diameter | 6 mm – 50 mm | Round, deformed (rebar), and square bar profiles available |
| Length | 6 m – 12 m (custom lengths available) | Standard mill lengths; cut-to-length service upon request |
| Surface Finish | Black (mill scale), deformed rib pattern, or smooth | Deformed surface improves concrete bond strength in reinforced structures |
| Application | Reinforced concrete structures, foundations, bridges, columns, beams | Widely used in residential, commercial, and infrastructure construction |
| Certification | ISO 9001, CE Marking, Mill Test Certificate (EN 10204 3.1) | Third-party inspection available; SGS, BV, TÜV upon request |
| Packaging | Bundled in 2–5 MT bundles, steel-strapped, with ID tags | Seaworthy export packaging available; bare or wrapped per buyer requirement |
| MOQ | 25 MT per order | Mixed grades and sizes accepted; OEM and project-based supply supported |
We ordered 35 tonnes of 6 mm and 10 mm carbon steel bars in 6 m lengths for light structural fabrication work. When the shipment arrived, roughly 15% of the bundles were labelled with the wrong diameter designation, creating confusion on our shop floor during sorting. We flagged this to the supplier immediately. Their team responded within four hours, provided corrected documentation, and offered a partial credit for our sorting time. The steel itself was fully within spec — tensile strength and carbon content both verified correctly. Issue was administrative, not metallurgical, and their response was professional. Would consider ordering again.
