Ordered 180 MT of 16 mm and 22 mm deformed bars per GB/T 1499.2-2018 for a residential high-rise in Pune. The original MTCs provided were missing the silicon content data required by our project specification. I raised this with the technical team, who obtained a supplementary test report from the mill within 48 hours confirming silicon at 0.22%. Shipment was not delayed as the issue was caught early. Mechanical properties — yield 432 MPa, elongation 11% — were fully compliant. Customer service response was professional once the issue was flagged.
