Ordered 6 tons of ASTM A53 Grade B ERW pipe, NPS 3, Schedule 40, 12-meter lengths for a low-pressure steam line retrofit. The pipe itself met mechanical spec—yield and tensile values on the MTC were compliant. However, original EN 10204 3.1 certificates were not included in the first shipment and took an additional 5 working days to receive by courier, which caused a minor hold-up on our client's inspection sign-off. When we raised the issue, the sales contact responded promptly and expedited the documents. Pipe dimensions and surface condition were acceptable throughout. Supplier has since confirmed a revised documentation dispatch process. Willing to trial a follow-on order based on their response to the issue.
