As a regional steel distributor serving Southeast Asian markets, we placed a 200-ton mixed order covering ASTM A53 Gr.B ERW pipe (SCH 10 to SCH 40, OD 21.3mm to 508mm) and ASTM A106 Gr.B seamless pipe (SCH 40 to SCH 80). Mill-direct pricing at this volume was approximately 14–18% below what we had been paying through intermediaries. EN 10204 3.1 MTCs were issued per size and heat number — documentation was organized and complete, which is critical for our downstream customers. All 200 tons shipped in two consolidated containers within 10 business days. This is our fourth order and the consistency in both pricing transparency and delivery performance has made this supplier our primary source for carbon steel pipe procurement.
