| Chemical Composition (C) | 0.60%–0.82% | Carbon content controls hardness and wear resistance of rail head |
| Chemical Composition (Mn) | 0.70%–1.20% | Manganese enhances toughness and hardenability of rail steel |
| Chemical Composition (Si) | 0.15%–0.58% | Silicon improves strength and deoxidation during steelmaking |
| Chemical Composition (P/S) | P ≤ 0.025%, S ≤ 0.025% | Strict limits on phosphorus and sulfur to ensure rail ductility and fatigue life |
| Tensile Strength | ≥ 880 MPa (R260); ≥ 1175 MPa (R350HT) | Per EN 13674-1; heat-treated grades offer significantly higher tensile performance |
| Yield Strength | ≥ 480 MPa (R260); ≥ 900 MPa (R350HT) | Minimum yield strength ensuring rail resistance to plastic deformation under load |
| Elongation | ≥ 10% (R260); ≥ 9% (R350HT) | Minimum elongation at fracture per EN 13674-1 tensile test requirements |
| Rail Profile / Section | 30 kg/m – 75 kg/m (e.g., 43 kg/m, 50 kg/m, 60 kg/m, 75 kg/m) | Standard profiles include UIC54, UIC60, 50AT, 60AT, 75AT per UIC and GB specifications |
| Length | 12 m, 25 m, 100 m (standard); up to 500 m (CWR) | Continuous Welded Rail (CWR) available for high-speed lines; standard lengths for conventional track |
| Surface Finish | Hot-rolled, as-rolled or heat-treated (head-hardened) | Rail head surface free from cracks, seams, laps; straightness ≤ 1 mm/m per EN 13674-1 |
| Application | Heavy-haul railway, high-speed railway, urban metro, industrial track, crane runway | Suitable for axle loads up to 30+ tonnes; speed ranges from industrial to 350 km/h high-speed lines |

| Packaging | Bundle with steel strapping; ends protected with plastic caps; stored on wooden dunnage | Sea-worthy export packaging available; anti-rust oil coating applied on request for long-distance shipping |
| MOQ | 25 MT per order | Mixed profiles and grades accepted; bulk orders above 500 MT eligible for customized rolling schedule |
We ordered 300 tonnes of 43 kg/m AREMA-compliant rails for an industrial siding project in Texas. Upon dimensional inspection at our yard, we identified web height variance of approximately 1.8 mm on roughly 15% of the lengths — marginally outside our project tolerance. We raised this formally with the supplier. To their credit, the quality team responded within 24 hours, acknowledged the issue with full inspection records, and arranged replacement lengths at no additional cost within 3 weeks. Final rails passed all dimensional checks. The resolution process was handled professionally. Upgrading our rating once we complete the next order without similar issues.
