Ordered 30 tons of ASTM A36 plates at 12 mm nominal thickness for column base plates on a warehouse project in Oregon. Upon arrival, three plates in one bundle measured 11.4 mm, outside the EN 10029 Class B tolerance we had specified. We flagged the issue and the team responded within four hours, arranged a replacement shipment of conforming plates within nine days, and provided a credit note for inspection costs. The replacement material was fully within spec and came with correct 3.1 MTRs. Issue was handled professionally once raised. Rating reflects the initial problem, not the resolution.
