Initial documentation gap resolved promptly — quality of plates is solid
Our first order of 40 metric tons of ASTM A572 Gr.50 at 20 mm thickness arrived with EN 10204 3.1 certificates rather than the 3.2 third-party verified certs we had specified for a client audit requirement. This caused a brief hold on our fabrication schedule. However, when we contacted the team, the corrected 3.2 documentation was sourced and submitted within two business days, and the client audit proceeded without issue. The plates themselves were dimensionally accurate and mechanically sound. Communication improved noticeably after the issue was raised. We have since placed a follow-up order with the correct cert level pre-confirmed in writing.
