We ordered 10,000 km of G.652.D 200μm fiber for a UK Openreach-aligned FTTH project. Fiber optical performance was fully compliant — attenuation ≤0.20 dB/km at 1550nm confirmed, PMD ≤0.10 ps/√km, proof test at 0.69 GPa verified. However, approximately 8% of reels arrived with reel length labeling that did not match internal spool markings, creating sorting delays at our warehouse. We raised the issue and the supplier's quality team responded within one business day, provided corrected documentation, and implemented a revised labeling check for our subsequent shipment. The replacement reels were accurate. Fiber quality itself is not in question — we will order again with this correction confirmed.
