Our first order of 300 km of G.654.E fiber arrived with reel labeling that didn't match the attenuation values on the accompanying test certificates — a compliance concern for our project documentation. We flagged this immediately. The supplier's quality team responded within 12 hours, issued corrected certificates with reel-matched attenuation data (all verified ≤0.17 dB/km at 1550 nm), and updated their labeling process. The fiber itself performed correctly in the field. The issue was administrative, not technical, and was resolved fully within 48 hours. Upgrading our rating once we complete the second order evaluation.
