Initial profile dimension issue — resolved satisfactorily
First order of 15 tonnes of Z-sections (160mm, 2.0mm, S350GD) showed a batch where flange width was 3mm narrower than drawing specification — outside the ±0.5mm tolerance stated. Raised the issue immediately; supplier acknowledged the non-conformance, arranged replacement of the affected profiles within 9 working days, and issued a credit note for delay costs. Replacement batch was fully within spec, confirmed by our QC. Communication throughout was professional. Willing to order again given how the problem was handled, but will request pre-shipment inspection on next order.
