We ordered 55 MT of PVDF-coated cladding panels for a retail development in Melbourne. Our incoming inspection flagged that approximately 12% of panels in the first container showed dry film thickness below the specified 25 µm minimum — some measured as low as 21 µm. We raised this formally with the supplier. To their credit, they responded within 24 hours, arranged third-party re-inspection at their cost, and shipped a replacement consignment within 18 days. The replacement batch fully conformed to spec. Issue has been resolved and they've since shared updated QC process documentation. Cautiously willing to trial a follow-up order.
