Initial coil width inconsistency — resolved quickly by supplier
Ordered 30 tonnes of 0.55mm Z275 galvanized coil, 1,200mm width per AS 1397 for wall cladding fabrication. First delivery had three coils measuring 1,188mm — outside our ±5mm tolerance for our roll-forming line. Raised the issue immediately; the supplier arranged a replacement shipment within 10 days and provided a credit note without dispute. Subsequent batches have been accurate. The responsiveness in resolving the problem was reassuring, and we've since placed a follow-up order. Cautiously optimistic going forward.
