Ordered 18 MT of electro-galvanized S355J2 coils at 1.5 mm for indoor control panel enclosure production. On arrival, roughly 15% of coils showed uneven zinc coating thickness that fell short of our ASTM A879 spec. Raised the issue immediately — the supplier responded within 24 hours, arranged third-party re-inspection, and replaced the non-conforming coils within 10 days at no additional cost. Subsequent replacement batch was fully compliant. Appreciated the accountability. Will give another order a try to see if quality control has been tightened.
