Ordered 18,000 meters of 48-core aerial cable with integrated steel messenger for a New Jersey utility communication project. The cable itself performed well in the field — tensile strength and attenuation figures checked out against IEC 60794 spec. However, the initial shipment was missing the RoHS and REACH compliance certificates our client required for project sign-off, which caused a two-day hold. After contacting support, the full compliance documentation package was emailed within four hours and a hard copy followed by courier. Issue was resolved satisfactorily. Cable quality itself was not in question — just ensure documentation is requested explicitly at order stage.
